Day 1 - 10:30am -5:00 pm inc refreshments and a light lunch. 

Day 2- 10:00am -12:30pm Make Dark Rye's & bake of all breads, refreshments, & recap.

This course is for those wanting to enhance their baking skills and knowledge. Explore the world of natural leaven bread, sponges & leavens. This will provide you with the confidence to bake at home without using commercial yeast. Learn how to control natural fermentation, make, feed and maintain your own cultures. We will be making:

-White sourdough batard-shaped
-Wheat and Rye Sourdough boule-shaped
-Raisin, Rosemary & Olive Oil sourdough
-Dark Rye Sourdough (tin loaf)
-Sourdough Focaccia

£170 per person includes lunch and refreshments,
plus your live sourdough starter and a dough scraper to get you started.


N.B. Please bring a sturdy bag with you to take your baked creations away. All equipment and ingredients will be provided, including aprons. Please let us know of any food allergies or intolerances in advance of the course. Please note the baking shed is an environment where wheat, Rye & Sesame seeds are present
